 It was a fantastic night to celebrate Merseyside’s rising young business talents at the inaugural Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards 2007. The winners were announced at the glittering ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza, Pier Head, Liverpool.

Steve Morgan, renowned entrepreneur and founder of Redrow plc, announced in November 2006 that, as part of the support he wished to show the Merseyside Entrepreneurship Campaign, he would provide a range of awards to encourage entrepreneurs in the Merseyside, North Cheshire and North Wales area.

The Awards were designed to find a generation of role models - whether they are new businesses, young entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs. As Steve Morgan said, "The UK economy needs more people to create new ventures and to encourage them we should recognise those who are successful and on the brink of success".

To help with their success, Your Space™ were delighted to offer their services in addition to an already impressive prize package.

Every entrant to the Entrepreneur Awards 2007 now have the opportunity to take on a FREE VIRTUAL OFFICE with them for a period of 12 months. This consists of everything they need to get their business on the map – except the physical office itself.

As part of the virtual office option they get:

• a prestigious address at either the Liverpool or Manchester location,

The three categories were: Best New Business, Best Potential Business and Best Young Entrepreneur with a total prize package of £100,000.

Over 150 entries were received and the short-listed candidates were invited to make a presentation before the judging panel on 17th September. Amongst the judges were Steve Morgan himself and Hollyoaks & Brookside producer Phil Redmond.
